Field Trips

We will be taking many Field Trips this summer. We are partnered with First Student for our Bus Company. All campers that are registered for Field Trip days are required to attend the field trip. No campers will be left behind. All campers must wear their Field Trip shirt on ALL field trips! One shirt will be provided on your first day of camp! A $10 fee will be charged if GAR has to supply an additional Camp Shirt.

Weekly Newsletters

We will send home a weekly newsletter via email each week with important information and exciting news! Please make sure we have a valid email address on file for you.

Counselor / Camper Ratio

Our summer camp fosters a community-driven environment and is not designed to provide one-on-one individualized instruction.

We maintain a counselor-to-camper ratio that ensures each child receives enough supervision and support while engaging with peers. This balance fosters teamwork, social skills, and independence.

Lunch & Snacks

Parent/Guardian must provide morning snack and lunch daily. GAR will provide an afternoon snack. If GAR has to provide lunch for your camper(s), your account will be charged $10 per child. This year we will be offering a daily snack shop instead of offering Vending Machines.

Campers will be able to purchase snacks during lunch time. This is optional. If you would like your child to purchase snacks, please send cash inside an envelope each day you would like them to participate.

What to Bring

Campers must bring a water bottle each day with their name labeled on it. Please dress weather appropriate and wear comfortable footwear. All electronics must be left at home. Cell Phones are not allowed at camp. GAR is not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Cash should only be brought if participating in the snack shop. GAR will provide Sunscreen but you are welcome to supply your own if needed.

Water Days - Every Friday

We kindly ask that you send your camper(s) with a swimsuit, towel, a bag for wet clothes, and a dry change of clothes if necessary every Friday! We will be setting up the water slide and enjoying a variety of fun water activities!

Behavior Policy

We will have a 3-strike policy in place for all campers. While we never expect perfection from any camper, we have to maintain a safe & happy environment for all of our campers & staff.

  • Strike 1 - Phone call home

  • Strike 2 - Sent home for the day

  • Strike 3 - Sent home and not allowed to return

Payment Policies
